About

Josh Korman, the president of Ecometric Research, is a fisheries ecologist and modeller with 28 years of experience studying the effects of dams on fish populations, effects of harvest on exploited populations, and in developing novel approaches to the analysis of ecological data. He also has considerable experience in Adaptive Management.

Josh obtained his MSc in biological oceanography and PhD in zoology from University of British Columbia (UBC). He is an adjunct professor at the UBC Institute of Oceans and Fisheries, a reviewer for more than 15 scientific journals, and has served on a number of scientific review panels.
